Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Do I need to be a sushi chef to own a franchise?
No. Our comprehensive training program ensures you have the skills to lead your team and maintain our high standards without prior professional kitchen experience.
Do I have to find the location myself?
No. Bento secures the location through our relationships with grocery retailers and foodservice providers.
Where can I find additional information about franchising?
The Canadian Franchise Association www.cfa.ca, of which Bento is a proud member in good standing, is a valuable resource for learning more about franchising.
What is the investment cost?
An advantage of becoming a Bento franchise is the low investment cost due to the retail- hosted kiosk model in place with our grocery retail partners and foodservice partners. Investment costs include (but are not limited to) initial franchise fee, training fee, inventory and smallwares.
What is the timeline from signing a franchise agreement to when the location is open and operating?
Due to the retail-hosted model, the timeline is typically less than 60 days.
